interesting work.. Kristina.. you should see some of my macro works of my latest skipper butterfly. I get very close to live bugs.. I would like to take a shot of such a wasp live.. say about 1.5 inches away.. look at David Sweetland's works.. he lives for bugs..

another excellent piece of artwork. You do have a very beautiful innocent looking daughter, and this shows your true work.. at its best. I am adding you to my list of friends as i need to study your images at leisure.. great work..

image is blurry. it needs to be sharp. either your original shot itself is blurry, or it must be your scanning technique. I would say it is your original shot..

He looks like an alien from outer space. Excellent work. I am getting my 50mm f1.4 manual focus canon lens and would be using it in reverse on my coolpix. David. i managed to get close to a Japanese beetle in my yard. I had to shoot at point blank range. What is the normal distance you maintain. Could you send me your technique to my e-mail address.. subha_music@hotmail.com

sukru beautiful water crystals. Excellent lighting. One thing i have been told about Nikon Coolpix's are there is an inherint softness of the images it captures. So you need to use an external software to increase the sharpness of the images. See 'Forum' here on usefilm under Photographic equipment. So i sharpen images after uploading them.. from my camera.

you got 25 people to look at your shot with no comments or ratings.. now this looks like a Candid shot. the plants in the background is not needed so you need to clone them out or blur them.. using adobe. next, i don't like her palms (both of them) on her legs.. it doesn't look complimentary. i like the dress it is quite catchy. You asked her to look away and she is co-operating. I see you are using a good camera Canon D30 with 200mm lens. Next time you work with Natalie.. make her sit on a small stool.. keep your camera on a tripod with a long trigger line.. Frame her.. and talk to her.. from whatever angle you want her to look at.. make her laugh or get her to talk.. then take rapid frame shots.. you will be surprised..
