A study in form. Too bad about the blur, but that softens the textures.

Wonderfully strong linear contrast with the very-human shapes and textures of the figure. That he is NOT looking at us just adds another group of possible meanings. What I like to call an "anti-portrait."
Smart to go B&W, as that always emphasizes form.

At first glance this looked like three pieces of a slashed photo print. While it also succeeds on the "awww" level of doggie photos, it also has fun with the concept of confinement.

Without the automobiles outside, this would feel like an art-noveau/art-deco compromise cathedral. The cars and their sunny-bright metallic color anchor it in the present.

A feast of different textures, almost painterly. This LOOKS candid and spontaneous, but farther contemplation yields interesting interplays between composition, color, texture, shape-play...

Yes, its basically a toy camera on the level of the old instamatic, just with a goofy lens. Part of the fun--no control. Heck, the viewfinder is hardly functional (something they fixed on the Fisheye 2 I believe).

The Lomo Fisheye 1 camera is a 35mm film camera, and it doesnt capture a full circle, so the crop happens inside the camera, and impossible to get around. If I could, I'd shoot a full round coverage, but I don't have the $800 for a good fisheye lens for my Canon Rebel. :)
Thanks for askin! Best, @ndrew

I have a strange soft-spot for side-of-the-road Dead Furniture. It always causes me to flash back and wonder about it's history and what caused it to find it's way here. The sharp hot light here, and angle of shadow enhance this effect for me, emphasizing the rounds lines of composition and shadow.
