Offer means victim in Danish, but this man sure doesnt look like a victim;-) I personally like fullnudes but decent ones, so seing him from behind or bowed down in more rough or dark surroundings would have been very appealing to me, but we fortunately all have different tastes:-) Be well

This is so strong, so moving, it needs no comment. All I can say is that once again Mister Caldwell's exploration of his means leads him to a point resembling 1930's journalistic photography. He gives his subject the monumental dignity portraitists strove for then.

When faced with an unusual or picturesque subject, be straightforward, I always say, and let the viewer check out the elements one by one, top to bottom! It surely works in this case.

I can't tell if the model is thrilled to be allowed to get out of that Spandex, or if he's dubious of what might await him next, but the complexity of his emotion is certainly captured, and in a vivid baroque shape against that velvety void.

Mister Caldwell's sensitivity to the beauty of such mundane sights as this and their photographic possibilities transport one to the very earliest days of photography, when all was wonder and discovery.
