I do like what you have done here. A straight forward photo of the Angel would have been very unoriginal. I haven't seen it in person yet but hope to drive up there one day, it does look impressive and with a few years rust it will look really good.

good shot and photograph I know white is hard to bring out for detail. Could be a little better focused. the frame I know is a new fad but they tend to go away. Now tell me why an image has to be done in the rule of thirds I've heard people say that in a critique but no one says why?

Wonderful Composition, given the time of year and the conditions that day it is understable why the foreground is a little dark, Its a lovely photo with wonderful framing..

Good contrast and composition, the white is brilliant. I like the way you've framed it.

Great shot, besides the lovely white, you got some darker parts which are too dark though, so the island itself is nearly invisible .. the frame is a bit thick too ..

It is a touch dark, we lose some of the details of the island. It evokes a nice mood, though, and I must also add that I love the framing idea. I might have to steal that

A little more light and this will shine. Good comp and isolation in black b/g. Might be hot in B&W or sepia also.
