Very Good Idea here. I really like this as it makes me want to put a quarter in and look! B&W works really well here.

This is a great looking abstract, Rick. Everthing is great in this picture. Did you use some kinda orange in the background or these done in the PS? Wish to know how have you done this picture.

Simply gorgeous.

Elangs.

The composition on this is so strong, and the title fits it perfectly. It made me think of the stories you hear of when the Irish were coming to America - their families went ahead and held wakes for them, since to all intents and purposes they were "dead" to the ones they left behind. Well done!

Super in green tones (also perchaps in sepia). Very impressive and different point of view for a bridge photo.

Excellent composition Rick. I don't know if in B&W or in colour the result will be better however us it is, the result looks nice and ''classic''.

Rick, this is simply beautiful, and the composition is flawless. I love the gradiant of light, and the shape of the pier with all the posts. It was good in the original version, but I think this sepia one is definitely better - how it was 'meant to be'. Very well done!

Elangs: Thank you so much for your compliments.

Yes, in fact there was a mother and her two young sons at the end of the pier fishing. Thanks again!

Beautiful, Rick - I liked the original, and this is a wonderful alternative. The sepia gives it a timeless feel. And the person at the end of the pier really makes it, as Elangs said. It's nice to be led *to* something.

Simple elegant composition with sepia tones gives a pleasant feelings to the eyes. Certainly the leading lines are great here and my eyes were slowly running thru the lines... on the every columns, my eyes want to see something more... and i found the an object at the end of the lines... is there person standing? or is it just my eyes? :-)).

Wonderful image.

Elangs.
