"Little Gate"...the gate is lost in the shadows and off to the right of the shot. The bow of the gondola draws the viewers eyes away from the gate once you have found it. I do like the lighting and the overall image. MHO only

I feel this image would/could have more impact if the lighting and focus was also concentrated more with the baby's hand. As is; The old hand dominates the photo and the baby hand is lost at the top of the frame. I find the DoF is that shallow as to make the old fingernails appear to soft. MHO only

The direct look into the lense, the desaturation and the side lighting along with the subtle colour of the sweet and cheeks really makes this shot. Another DA triumph.. IMHO...The grain adds +++ to the photo.

I like this as the tree line gives a good 'depth' to this shot and the curve in the road leads you into the centre of the photo. Good work, well done.

The overall feel of the photo leaves the veiwer with a feeling of 'such a long journey to go'. The tree line gives this shot such depth and the mountains dissappearing into the clouds keeps the entire image in perspective. Focus, DoF and lighting have combined to make a brilliant photograph. Well done

Great focus and colours, Pity you weren't able to get in closer or to another viewpoint to get rid of the barrier fence, as it is a major distraction in this shot.

The riggings at sun-set. Great contrast with the colours of the sky. I do feel, IMHO, that the street lamp on the right could been cropped out as it trends to draw the eye away from the obvious main subjects.

I'm not a fan of B&W sun set/rise as they don't seem to potray to much. The birds flying into the picture do add a good touch for this composition.

As Jonathan said..."Nice framing with the trees!", IMHO the framing is to overbearing and actually inpinges onto the main subject to much.
