Interesting photo - if only they didn't ruin their shoes - lol! I like the tone on this and the dark solid figures.

I really like the ones of her and also a great deal of your work. She looks like I feel right now. Opening up.

Carolyn, this brings back happy memories of holidays spent in Italy (until they put themselves beyond the reach of my pocket).I took a few photos in this spot including one of an exotic little feline -thought it was starved at first but that was just its build. Must look it out sometime. A lovely image of this covered walk, a very sequestered feel to it. The toning suits the mood very well......Many thanks for your kind comments on my photos. David

Very nice shot. Good composition, it tells an interesting story.
The B&W does seem a bit flat because the image is too gray. Try to include some black, either by computer or taking a shorter shutter speed.

This begs for further, closer examination. Regardless that it has no premise in real life... (who goes into the sea with buckets.. in modern dresses?) anyway no matter... this is a compelling photograph, and one which deserves accolades. VERY well done, and much admired.

I do tend to agree with Fabio (again) on the format, Carolyn. A beautiful photo like this one sohould be a bit larger, indeed, in order to be fully apreciated in all its fine details. Marília
