It seems to me it's not quite in focus... and I think it could do with somewhat softer light - the sleeve is hot, and then there's that shadow on the right.

It would be nice to see the person's face and the front of the horse and -- oh crud...I did it again. I did not mean to rate this photo that low! Aargh! I need to watch what I am doing. I was looking at the photo and trying to hit a 4 or 5 at the same time. I know I am not an expert, but I think the photo would be better if the person were turned sideways or around and the front of the horse was visible.
