An interesting building with quite a bit of history: "The main distillery building is made entirely of limestone blocks, in the form of a medieval castle, complete with turrets. A drawing of the castle appears on the label of Old Taylor Bourbon. The castle wasn't just a facade, either; inside were gardens and ornate rooms where Colonel Taylor used to entertain important government officials and politicians." The website I got this from said it was being restored. Anybody know anything more about the building, current heritage designations (if any) and future plans?

I agree with Cessy, the picture is overexposed. Try to take it after 4 o'clock with the sun to your back. Then you'll have a blue sky with great details. Keep up the good work

it's interesting object, but I think the light is too much (over exposure) some details are missing

Excellent Robert...the warm tones of the sunset against the harshness of the snow adds so much to the setting. I also like the angle of the shot,it makes the viewers eye move to the tree line and sky....Gloria

Interesting shot, I kept looking for someting missing. I kept wanting to find something odd, out of sorts. Like there should be a single flower or person or rock in the grass. So, I looked at the picture for a minute and visualized myself on the green lawn having lunch with a friend, enjoying the day. Thanks
Peter

A lovely colourful image with beautiful colours in the Tulips. I don't think though the black background seems to fit somehow.

Graham.

You see, this is a lovely picture...but I?ll never do that, because it is not my way.Too classic for my taste. No doubt it is a very good one. I rate you 7,but if I ever do this , I?ll do it totally diferent.

hello Robert.
a nice one.. you are mine equal name.. a beautiful idea of photo and composition, but the snow is always difficult "to capture".. it has used a traditional machine to film, (also me) as she can see the white man is not properly white man, but, whitish - gray. in these cases she must herself be little worked on the exposures and diaphragms! a secret.. small if you want to obtain a snow "white snow" also with cloudy sky and light much difficult one, you must overexpose of 1/3 of opening and the game friend mine is made! my best congrats and wish.. for the composition... is perfect!!!
(also in end of resize of the photo.. use a little shot of "sharpness mask"!

cheers
roby
