I like this very much as it is. I think, and I'm really just speculating, that some experimentation with camera placement and angle of view would pay off with this subject. As it is, the composition is really about the loops of rope immediately around the spools. At a guess, I think that a shot slightly farther back showing all of the base of the spools and more of the foreground rope and having the diagonal line meet the upper left corner of the image exactly might have been an interesting shot.

Great shot! Very nice composition, very clear and I like the seriousness in this young player's eyes. Ain't Little League great!!!???? You must be something like me... The parent with their camera up to their face at every game, driving the players a little nuts

Nice shot.. isn't it great to get these? Take 100 shots of strikes, or whatever else and along comes a gem... Wish I could see the player's face a little better, but lighting at the ball park often leaves much to be desired! Keep shooting that little league!~
