You are absolutely right - he has nothing left to loose, so he is enjoying the FREEDOM .

Excellent basic capture. If I may speak, I find the tonal contrast applied very well visible, however it takes th e attention away from the focus pint. You may consider blurring the surroundings of the people and apply only little tonal on the people.

Dear Guy!
I very much like this street capture.
Perhaps it is mt screen (for how can we know how others see our images via this medium?) but I would have liked it a more with a little added density/saturation. The whites are flaring just a tad.
