Hi Serge - Thanks for your comment... I agree that it could be deeper... I wanted more in the foreground in hindsight. Trouble was the way I shot it. This is a stitch of 5 shots and with the natural curve of me turning I had missed the grass verge in front of me!

Again very nice capture of the old steam trains.
I think I like the other one better but I see they
awarded this one. Maybe because of the steam as it does
create very nice visual and initial impact to the image.
I liked the fact you people included in the other shot
which made it a little more personal to me. Both are excellent. Congrats on your award. Well deserved!

Many thanks Sheldon for your comment... I have to say this was a nightmare shot as trying to get the smoke to come out of the barrel was a nightmare... I burned candles, wicks, sticks, toothpicks etc etc etc... This was all shot using a head torch as the light source in the end too! Still I have to say I was happy enough in the end!
