Wonderful capture. You asked about the TCON300, it's VERY heavy, I really must get a wider neckstrap!!! It is as you said, like carrying a kid on your neck...OK for 1-2 hours. If you need more info Amanda, you can email me ross@macsgrafs.co.uk & I will answer what I can  . Superb colouring on this one, very well executed shot.

Thanks and No I used a7+ Macro lens(close-up). my 10+ is on order or I would have been able to get that tail in there too, But I would have had to sacrafice detail in the body to get the tail, with just the 7+. So I will go back and see what I can do when the stronger lens comes in, Again thank you for the kind words everyone.

Excellent compoced, beautiful lightning and great coloring, I would like the focus have been total on dragonfly, mis in lower right corner. But total it is a very beautiful foto, and I like the frame.

Very nice capture amanda but it would do better without the framing, a nice shot like this does not need a fancy frame, it detracts from a very nice image.

thanks for the compliment, Robert, there are not many trees because it is the desert, the Joshua tree is an endangered species and does not grow all over the park. this area here is where the rock climbers like to go, so I thought I would try playing around with the DOF in the clouds.

I believe you needed a bigger composition. Even their shadows should be included .. Still wonderful view, it did not stop that one. Very cute still, but you could make it much better.

I like this as a low contrast version; I do agree that a little more room on the left and top would have been good, but I think the image has a really good feel of motion and sets the beach scene and the joy of the children playing really well. The position of their bodies and forms really also complement each other when you just look at form in abstraction. Great work.
