Suzanne, this is a lovely image indeed! Well done for cloning the background into this amazing effect.
What I do not understand (I'm new to photography and can take images of only VERY still objects at this stage) is how a slow shutter speed of 1/60 managed such a relatively sharp image - I see your aperture was rather big, but how does that render such an image? Would appreciate your thoughts on this tremendously.

Hi Albert - thanks for your comments - I've come across Joggie's works of art, yes, he's the one who inspired me to buy the D200, in fact. It's a rather complicated, or should I say, formidable, camera, but I refuse to be intimidated by all the features and menus - I'll manage eventually, I'm sure.

Nice even background - I know how difficult it is to photograph flowers in bright sunlight, let alone white ones - the slight overexposure of the top right petal is a pity - otherwise very pleasing image, Diane.
