Lovely colours - IMO the sun should have been more towards the left, to balance with the structure bottom right.

The stuff dreams are made of - good decision, Joggie, leaving the diaphragm flare - simply amazing image!

What a great find! Such a special image - lovely texture and detail - well done, Sarel.

Lovely idea, Sylvia - charming image - pity the whites seem slightly over-exposed. Well done, nevertheless.

Nice image, Alexander - good composition - pity about the spot in the clouds, above the horizon, left.

Now this composition is much more striking, Peter, don't you agree?

Intriguing image, Don - good exposure - one expects a mistical creature to appear any moment - the stuff dreams are made of!

A stunning image, Joggie - love the way you used the foreground to emphasize the mountains - excellent placement of the tree - immaculate composition!

Amazing little creatures - great exposure - well done for including the colours of the fruit - think you could have cropped the wrist away, and eliminated the top right shadow in the process - charming image nevertheless.

Silly or not - your photograph is striking, Sarel. I notice a difference in colour toning between this one and "The Meeting" - I prefer the tones of the latter, but the humour in both is spot-on.

That you have a steady hand, is no maybe, Laura. I think this is remarkable for no tripod!

This brings back such good memories - beautifully clear image - forgive me if I'm wrong, Andreas, but it seems a tag over-saturated.

The golden and blue-grey colours are just beautiful, Hilton - but it bothers me that the duck seems blurred - I also use this lens and have not figured it out at all, in fact, I battle to get the shutter speed / aperture ratio right - so please bear with me - what if you had chosen a faster shutter speed to eliminate the blurry effect from the duck itself - a running duck, doesn't leave one with much time to make these decisions...! I take it that you shot in manual mode?

That's why I believe photography is not for sissies, Sarel - one has to be so very quick, it's frightening! Well done for catching her before she ran off - those ears just tell the whole story: she did not trust you one little bit - lovely reflection in the eye.

Nitpick is fine by me, Todd - that's why I've been virtually pleading for reaction to this image. Looking at your portfolio, it is quite obvious that you know what you're talking about - thank you very much indeed - your critique has helped a lot - I love the effect of the crop.

As far as the eyes are concerned - as I mention in my intro, I realize that eyes are essential, (for instance your own "She's so sweet" doesn't really show the eyes either) - I thought it might be allowed under certain circumstances, but I understand what you are getting at - appreciate your input tremendously.

Striking composition, Alper - lovely backlit effect on the man - a tad over-saturated, if I dare say, but full marks for the detail in the sky.

Very dramatic image, Barbara - well done for including the corner of the building - how did you get the sky to be so exceptionally dark blue?

Lovely image, Janosi - great colour contrast, beautifully clear - I like the way you cropped away part of the poppy bud - IMO you should have cloned out the rectangular-looking light effect above the bud: it is somewhat distracting. Otherwise - well done!
