I was standing in the very dark shadow of a mountain and shooting into very intense light. I was loosing the light very rapidly, the fisherman in the river was in the sunlight when I set up for this shot, in the photo he is in the shadow.

The journey yout take the eye on in this frame is really good. I like the colours, very dramatic approach. The blurring seems more wind created then anything and as you mention appears to add to the drama.. I like the use of the polerizer on this very moody shot.

The petal structure is fabulous.. I think that the blown out look to the edges most likely attracts more then it distracts.. I do not care for the heavy frame on such a delicate subject but that has little to do with the actual photograph.I admire how with your cropping and the translucent sheet you have created a floating quality to this .. I prefer to have more drama to the colour personally.

This is a grim reminder of the times we live in and with that in mind I am going to suggest you work the curves on this to bring out the depth of colours on this destroyed yet still there tank. The characteristics of this vehicle can be made extreme and thus giving this photograph the extreme look.I am talking strictly of shadows and shading here in this photograph.

I find this flower to be a lovely subject but the background is so busy it draws the eye away from ther main focus. Your actual focus appears somewhat soft on this and I might suggest the rule of thirds with this and not have the flower or any subject matter directly centered.

This was also taken in B&W as a study but the patina and grains in this old wood simply were not shown to best advantage. This is a case where the colour is better.

This is a real nice photo. Aspens are so hard to get right and you have done so, very well.
