Michaelle, you had left a comment on a picture of mine a long time ago and for some reason I never got a chance to look at your portfolio till today. You have a beautiful collection of images in portfolio and the most striking thing about all of them is the coloring. You know how to use color and tone to capture the essence of your pictures. Beautiful work.

its an interesting picture, you might want to consider cropping the tip of the boat on the left off because it seems a bit distracting. Also the picture seems a bit unbalanced because there seems to be too much water ... try cropping a bit of that off too..  ....

interesting perspective ... i feel like if you crop out the light bar on the right the lines become more striking, more 3d, leading your eyes to the center 'cross.' there are many variations of cropping the picture that would contribute to the feel of being led into your picture.

i love what you do fabio. i love the way you capture the beauty that so many people just skim over.. most of your images have this profound simplicity to them that plays with the viewers perceptions of the world. i like that a lot. i also like the way you seem to blend the camera and the computer to bring some powerful images to life.
also, i love the way you use colors...

incredible... this picture seems to draw me into the reality of it. i can almost picture myself sitting across the table from this man and listening to him telling stories from the good old days as i watch his hands that have led him through it all... beautiful.
all your other images have an abstract quality to them so the powerful simplicity of this image is so much more striking.

heres the original picture. once again it is a digital picture of the paper picture so the quality isn't outstanding, but it gets the point across. i'd love some feedback on the original too... specially on how it can be tweaked in the darkroom. thanks!
