reminiscent of Jennifer Beale in FlashDance from the 70's or 80's. Excellent composition; great use of space within your frame. Love that angled lighting and her semi-tough with satin appearance.

Ditto, what Manu suggested. Your images are rich in color, and compositionally wonderful. Would love to know so more of the details of this and other images. The even lighting; the soft shadows. Was it studio or creative enviromental work?

Pawel, are you using a gold reflector in this series? The skin tone is absolutely lovely and contributes to the power of the overall image. She is mysterious and has that all-knowing gaze that penetrates through to the soul. Excellent. I am keeping this one in faves so I can go back and easily study and learn.

great composition Johan, but this time I think there is not quite enough light in the background to separate her hair from the backdrop. It blends in just a bit too much. I love the semi-nudeness of this work.

This one is sevens plus. excellent eye on a really familiar subject. we all have one or more in our homes and we so often forget to really observe them. the tone of this image is wonderful; the way you stacked the strainer/plug over the drain access makes it look almost 3D.

Thanks, Neal...I am struggling to define my own image style. I see so many beautiful flowers and portraits on the web, yet, they do little to inspire me. I shoot these as I see them with an eye for the simple details and the mystery of the beauty I see.

As I waited for the complete image and file to load, I thought to myself this is really good. Something like a Pearl Vision ad with fantastic DOF and composition pushing me towards those lenses. I love this! All the way to the nicely composed tight crop.

When I look at this I know why Georgia O'Keefe was fascinated with flowers and their innards. This curving luscious color mass is extremely sensuous in design and style. The color complements the shape and is pleasing to the eyes.
