i saw the other one first and i thought i liked it. this one however is excellent. the folded arms held one could conjecture just under the breasts that we do not see. the strong defined shadow there as well. nice work.

an alternate prespective on an ordinary object. how different they look out of the normal context. thanks for such a well composed sample.

very well done and nicely captured...the composition and lighting and DOF make for a great image here.

you did a good job here of capturing her beauty...a fashion portrait for sure, but also quite intimate.

composition is good, but seems too soft, Nicole. i think you need to either have a wrinkled backdrop of a pressed one. the fold lines are distracting. pull your subject away from that background and put more light on it. that should help the model pop right out because of the separation.

great light, Nikki. creative and brave composition with the lighting you did have. sometimes we fight the light instead of embrace it. this light makes for an interesting composition. kudos to you and your subject. Luke

beautiful shot, Hana. Nice abstract of the entire flower. i like the lighting and the water droplets that reflect the light back so well.

Neal, I am leaning toward the 7D but I want to wait for the to come out and test them both. Not sure I really need the extra durability of the 7D. But they are fairly close in price. Test drive them both and wait.

Beautiful flower. Just enough to intrigue, not so much flower as to bore us with yet another flower. Nicely and brightly lit in the sun.

Mirek, this is beautiful. How you managed to captured the subtle gradations and tones is wonderful. Waiting for the right light to create a magnificent landscape as this.

Like, I love it. This simply sings about the beauty of light and contrast and composition. This one is a winner Lukasz. Well worth the effort.

Marion, I wanted you to know that I had a sense of flying when I saw the thumbnail. I also felt off balance and as I read the "about" I knew that you had masterfully captured this well.

Hello, Cliff. It has been a long time since I have seen one of your beautiful flower images. They are always so sharp and clear with well-defined DOF and backgrounds. This beauty is no exception. Excellent work.

I think that you have captured the spirit of Avedon with this foto. I like the grain in the concrete and the smooth complexion of her skin. As always, excellent lighting.

Yes, Andrew. Mark is a worthy subject. Funny that there are so few comments on this well lit and composed image of a semi-nude male. I am guessing if it was a Maria you would have all glowing comments. Nice form. The white shorts addd interesting contrast in the image.

The huge empty space...looks like a holding place for those who have abandoned all hope. Yet the light provides a glimmer that all will be restored. Excellent tones and composition. Must have been challenging with all the angles and straight lines to line it all up correctly.

Good Claude, but I think the chair leaning distracts from the beauty of this image. The rest is exquisite mon frere. Great even lighting, subtle tones and her eyes are phenomenal as usual.

what a grand skyscape? the beautiful clouds pulling us deeper into the image to the field of green serenely sitting below. the color so intense and yet peaceful...thanks

Lotta, this is a nice composition. The blue repeated in the chairs and the squareness of the building make it nice. I think it is just a tad crooked though as I get a sense of mild vertigo when I look at it.

just a tease then for what we have in store for the future. nice way of presenting your model. the eyes that are a clue to her soul. you captured it very well. what is it that you wanted us to know of her, besides the alluring beauty of her eyes?

excellent lines. black and white, shades of gray faceless and yet still communication sense of despair or something. the shiny black leather and soft black of her hair. the lines in the shoes and the flat black blouse in contrast to the bland wall and wonderful linear stairs. good scene!
