Thanks, Sometimes i wonder Trish, if I am pushing myself towards the wrong direction. I work with people all day long, and the abstract comes so naturally to me that it does not feel like work. People are tough because of their inherent complexity. When I can deconstruct people like the abstract, perhaps my portraits will be better.

What a lineup! They are all guilty, obviously. I think you got just the right degree of darkness in the background for a pleasing effect.

HEY there Luke... lovely to 'see ' you... and what a great self portrait it is.. i love the perspective here, even if you didn't write about being laid back, it shows so well in your face and pose... you should do more sp's... you've a great face, stubble and all,... your tones here are spot on..... well done...
cheers

Exactly as I saw it yesterday. Bright sun pouring in through the northern window and all the stuffed animals sitting on the ledge. I thought of the current project and shot 7 frames with this one resulting as best from the bracketing.

I prefer this one to the previous one because of the thin border. It keeps it all together. Thanks also Luke for your comments.

they are like very small tomatoes. they grow in this little place and then fill in the fruit later. this husk then peels back. they are quite delicious.

Judi, you are so right. These days I want to run out and play in the rain so I can be ready when it stops to capture the rainbow and maybe find the pot of gold as well.
