Nice use of space and light/shadow/contrast. I like the tiles. I can almost here the heels clacking against them.

Thanks, Carmem...I like this enough to go back and actually try it at night...when we have the moonlit night and my tripod.

Ann, it is on the shore...marked on the street side with a private property sign. Seems someone else had your idea already.

Thilo, as I have not yet seen the sibling's photos, I can't compare your work to his. I do know that you have a great eye for details as you have commented on my images. This image has all the components of a good shot. Certain who the subject is; sharply focused; good DOF...your interpretation of this instant with your style superimposed on top of the other factors. Good work!

What an excellent eye for composition you have. Shapes and colors all coming together to form this wonderful abstract. You are right about the journey. May we all discover the Source.

Martin, the eyes are lovely. I have withheld commenting on this one, because I wanted to give myself time. Time to think about the extreme highkey lighting. Still there is enough of her face to be recognizable...and then the eyes. I like it. It is an image not immediately pleasing, but it does contain many elements of a well done image. Luke

Megan, I agree that this is a nice SP. Not your usual here at UF with a camera held in front of a mirror. Keep playing with those fresh ideas about how you want to shoot and develop your signature style. Luke

wonderful abstract, Megan. New perspective. I saw this and thought it was a different ARCH but realized you captured the one from a perspective I have not seen before. Well done!

Reminds me of a scene from Out of Africa. Peaceful tranquil wilderness. A place we visit but dare not stay too long for fear of what we may encounter, externally as well as internally. That tree is a beautiful symbol in the midst of all the wonderful yellow grasses. Welcome back!

Thilo, he looks like one of the characters that my kids watch with Sponge Bob. Can't think of his name, but this image rings a bell. Good capture! Really does look like a smile. Maybe a grimace. Nicely lit shooting through the glass and water.

Wow, Alison. Your image brings fear to my soul. I have only seen the images and read the stories of Maximom when traveling in Guatemala. I, of course, am ready to return there for my third trip. It is an endlessly fascinating country. This image is a clue to the psyche of the people. What have we done?
