you've done a very good job in making a special fall portrait here. the seperation from the background is wisely done, and the format itself is well done. you didn't mention a crop, but the format looks like you've done it. nice work indeed!

Toujours très agréable de découvrirun portrait de ta part...la direction des yeux est judicieuse parce qu'on perçoit la brillance dans chaque oeil...l'arrière plan est totalement dilué et ne vient pas distraire le regard...il reste toutefois un élément important de ta photo...continue...je pense que tu as de bonnes bases dans ce domaine

I know the light is somewhat harsh on one side of her face. I was trying to use the shade (?) from the tree above us. Apparently the light was a bit too strong.

Wonderful. I like the drop shadow effect to give this image such a 3D feel to it. The colours are vivid and the detail clear. Excellent work.

nice work on this abstract. f/22 and 1/60? holy.... the two leaves form together a nice silhouette. As Stefan said, there may be some potential in the lights part. anyway, good stuff.

Hi Luke,
the transparent background really creates focused subject, that's for sure. I like the crop on the right and the more centered placement of the stone. the connection between the leaf and the stone is something fresh. good choice of title here.

while I like your about, my feeling is: don't think about what a picture might do or not =) break rules, make cliches, or even follow rules.
this image is really alive due to the colors. cliche or not =) like the format.
