abhra, this is absolutely beautiful. it is haunting in its simplicity and the ability to speak the truth about children in our modern world. they have so much to worry about. the more technologically advanced we become, the more fragile and vulnerable our children, elders and disabled are. thanks for the poignant reminder of what is IMPORTANT. as only can be truly and innocently expressed like a child. magnificent capture with spectacular supporting emotional details in the sky behind this marvelously silohetted pair of pre-pubescent children. the lean alone is priceless!

Robert, I think you should leave the space in front of her. It gives the image some breathing room. She would look cramped and the eye contact would be less natural than it is. The focus and composition are really sharp and pleasing to the eye. Luke - BTW, Happy New Year!

This is the complete image. I framed it in camera this way. It was during a moment of peace when we arrived at our destination. I needed the simplicity of this particular moment for self-reflection. Thanks for noticing.
