Hi Sir Pete: You are a good comment writer:) Actually the snakes fang are not torn out among the Hindu culture because it is against their religion, they are just fed so good and kind of taimed (Sp?). And it is indeed the dealliest snakes "in this area" of india (Since Russel's Viper is not found in this arae). The other deadly snake that is found here whose poison works faster than cobrad are called Karet (pronouced diffrently in Hindi language). Cobra is dangerous because the amout of its poison is a lot more. "Kare(n)t" fangs are more inside. It was sad to know how Steve died. He worked very hard, and it was such a sad thing to see his wife and little daughter suffer the most. Regards to you and good day my freind. David

Great shot and interesting if not over dramatic commentary, nothing like as deadly as the Russel's viper which also claims a lot more fatalities in the region.
I like the fraimng which although a little cheesey does draw the eye into the shot, however not sure about the way the snakes body crosses the frame at the bottom of the shot.
I'm sure you realise also that as a tourist attraction the snake that was drapped around your neck will have had its fangs cruelly torn out. This was exactly the sort of thing that Steve Irwin used to fight against.
Good shot nevertheless and very 'striking'
Pete

Excellent artwork about the way you use the frame to make the flowers looks like 3D...like being out of the watcher's monitor. Lovely flowers too. Regards.
