ha!... excellent pic beautiful red <3 purdy... and little need of having to take out the whole guitar to make it meaningful maybe I would try to go for the whole upper part of the guitar... still so purdy

great capture alan, i love the true black in your photograph. many times when ppl convert a color photo to black and white it looks so plain but your dramatic values make this photograph really stand out.

Marvellous colour Alan. One of those rare occasions where you capture twilight with just a little something extra that sets it apart from the multitude of others - the dolphins in the sky! Smart thinking to use fill light for the foreground as well, as this lifts the composition immensely and adds more interest. Well done and congrats on a fantastic shot!

Thanks for the message.
This is a very good start- you need to look at everything around you and try to photograph it in a way that expresses how you feel about the subject. You start with a good composition and work towards getting a technically good photo. Have to agree this one has an overexposed padlock - you'll need to learn your gear better and see if you can do a spot meter here to get the proper exposure. You'll also realize that in order to convey a subject matter better, you'll have to try and remove distracting objects around it. This is best done by zooming in and isolating your subject.

Yes it has a relaxing effect!Nice blurry effect on teh background!Have u tried taking a shot on same spot on a clear sunny day!You might get a better capture!
