Wonderfully expressive image - love the sepia touch, the colourless effect contributes to the sadness portrayed - would have liked a shallower DOF, although it's evident why you kept the detail.

Nice capture Frikkie,
Well composed, good lighting with a crisp focus and vibrant colours.
The only critique I would have(and this is only personal style), is to not put your name inside the picture. Its a bit distracting to me. Rather put it in the frame. But as I said, that is just a personal preference, the next guy might disagree with me.
As for the shot itself: Well done!!
