Nice one Wietse! The pattern in the dark water makes a great background. I think something between this crop and the other would make the image most justice, this one is almost to tight (for my taste). Is it the newest addition to the KLM fleet?

Great and exactly my style I think you got some spots on your sensor.Shoot blue sky at f8 f11 f16 f22 and in ps autolevels you will see . I had 3 spots showing in my pics on the blue sky and I cannot remove it.So my Rebel is in for repair,I hope Canon can fix it.

Wietse...I TAKE MY PHOTOGRAPHIC HAT OFF TO YOU!!! This image has stopped me in my tracks...it is so very astounding!! Absolute perfection. This is the epitome of the term "Capture." As a film shooter and an aircraft fan, I salute this image as one of the very best. I lived in San Diego, California most of my 57 years and was always captivated by the inbound flights. I thought I had a nice set of inbound images, but this one shows me just what a great one looks like! Regards, Rik

Dear Wieste, It is an Interesting shot, you could freeze the moment with the extreme setup. The ISO 1000 and the 1/4000 with the f4, stoped the time and the cars. Everithing is sharp!!! You couls remove the dinamism. You could cteate a standing shot during the race. Fabulous MACHINE!!! Congrats! Radák

Wietse, You ROCK man! And with a Canon 1D - YEA!!! Very cool and at 1/4000 - very very cool! I didn't notice much grain and can't figure out why you shot at ISO1000 - is that suppose to be ISO100??? Anyway, great work!!! Regards, Dan
