Nice shot - I like the high lights - very well done. As for the first comment - Some just can't understand nature happens.

Thanks Terri, I noticed the spot after the post. It was not in the original - sometimes artifacts turn up when you least expect it. I think it is a young Baltimore Oriole, but it lacks the black tip on the tail. Other problem is the very high contrast due to the bright sun light - makes it look like it was over processed in Photoshop. I'm going to try again on an over cast day.

Nice work Milica, very good framing and composition. I always enjoy seeing a departure from the boring straight flower shot.

Thanks Paul,
This site is about sharing - No problem on technique. I used a lawn sprinkler, set the camera so the flowers and water were back lighted and used 1/60 at F11. Lens was 300mm with 2x converter. (I sure do miss the 1.6x magnification my 20D gave my lenses )

Hi Terry;
It's on I-25 about 15 miles North of Santa Fe, New Mexico, on the edge of the Tesuque Indian reservation.

Hi Miguel, Yes, they are this color blue. I don't know the scientific name , we call this bird a Robin. It has a red breast and eats earth worms. They can actually hear the worms crawling under ground. I'll try and get a picture of the bird for you.
Thank you, for the comment. Jon

Thanks for the comment. The dark corners are due to a built in sun shade on this lens. It is normal for fish eye lenses to do this.

Great work. I like the use of th eblack back ground and the composition. This is the kind of photo everyone looks at and passes by because they think it an easy photo to pull off - until they try it.

Matt,I like it. part of the fun of using long exposures in night photography is the unexpected. I think the extra light that added color to the limbs makes the photo more interesting than what would have other wise been a silhouette. Few have the ambition to try a star shot. Nice job.

Super job. I've tried for years to get a Heron shot like this. The ones that come to my pond are too spooky. I really appreciate what you had to do to get this.

Thanks for the comments. Yes I did crop the edges intentionally. There was too much negative space and I felt the crop I used added some tension. I think marbles and M&M's make great macro subjects, especially when used on reflective surfaces.
