The colorful joy of this one strikes my eyes immediatelly, Clint. Couldn't it be even better ton add even more petri dishes and let no white background be as noticable? I think then it would be stronger.

Much of a painting here, Clint, through all that grain-like noise. And the colors and contours do support this further. A bit more saturation could have helped, I guess.

Yes ... Doyle Chastain is a wonderful person. He is teaching me how to shoot my camera .... I got it in January ... but had never shot manually before . I am learning now !!
You are a very Good painter and did justice to his Bird ! I love it... then you also photographed it ... I will enjoy going thru your portfolio !!
