Excellent capture Greg. Are these rocks naturally red? What an amazingly beautiful and magical landscape. Well done indeed!

Like it for originality and lighting. I was lucky enough to have visited your gem of an island a few years ago. A photographers paradise. Thanks for sharing Steven.

Hey, what a coincidence! As a matter of fact I was there last night, and yes, that must have been you next to me, as it looks like we are shooting from the same vantage point. Great shot by the way. You really captured the water movement well giving the scene a whole different spin. See you around...

Congratulations Alison. You are certainly very deserving. As far as pricing, there are many considerations. Generally what I personally do is double my costs, but I'm no expert. This calculation works for me and keeps my work in range with fellow photographers who may be sharing space with me in a show or gallery. Thanks you also for your comments. My mother is in what I term a 'holding pattern'. We just play it day to day. Thanks again for sharing your work and wisdom.

Thanks Roger for your comments. Normally I don't pay much attention to settings. If it is a scene I like, I do alot of bracketing. The Lcd screen does a fairly good job of letting me know how my lighting is. Going back and reviewing the settings: film speed 50, shutter 1/80 and apeture f8. Just regular focusing. The G6 is a simple but great camera for me. No more lugging around tons of equipment. It has been very freeing. The heaviest thing is still my tripod which I take everywhere. Eventually, I may upgrade to a dslr, but for now, I very content. Thanks again Roger.

Somehow, I managed to have overlooked this the first time around. I'm glad they posted it today. I love the verse you chose to accompany it. I needed to read something uplifting today. It's been a trying week after finding out my mother is nearing her end. I spent the weekend along the seashore finding some solace there. Thanks again for sharing.

Nice series Roger. This is one of my favorites, in that, even though it shows a more detailed rendition of the creek, it holds alot of interesting visuals such as various reflective light qualities and rippling patterns. Very nice work indeed!

Thanks Ahmad for your comment. Unfortunately, my work is not photography related. I sell Harleys. I rarely have need for PS except for framing, level adjustment and sharpening. I take so many variations of a scene, I'm sure to hit on a handful of adequate images. Thanks again for your interest.
