Martin, this is very different from any pictures I've seen.
Great idea to capture old-rugged-burned-tree stump..
I love the tones, strong colors and of course the DOF right on the alive leaves ...
great job...!!

Hi John-Eric,
Thank you for the kind comment.
Yes, I did it on Photoshop CS.
For this particular picture, I create a new layer, ctrl-A on the new layer, go to edit, click on 'stroke', put the number for your preference pixel of the stroke, then ctrl-D, ctrl T (transform), I put 80 and 80 for Height and wide respectively. Then click enter.

Hope this helps...

Nice image ....
I'd try to take from different angle to avoid the 'big-red' blooming poppy on top of the picture which kinda distracted.

Hi again Jinggoy,...
Thanks for stopping by and your great comment/critique.
Yup,...I am on the roll and really do enjoy this lense, since it has the capability for macro shot.
I did not use tripod for all of my flowers pictures, except for my "aRcH" and last nite attempt to shot at the moon. Steady handheld is hard because it's heavy, so my latest flowers images were taken in my lil studio with . I have yet to buy a small tripod :-), so I placed the camera on the other table.
Take care, my friend.
