Hi Again, Jinggoy,...
Yup,..been busy with my students,..going back to class again but have some lil time to put my camera to work. Thx for all the input,..and a new resource for me to learn from. It's bookmarked now, so I'll learn.
Just purchased a Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6.
Can't wait to put her to work, too.

Hi Meigy,
It's been a while! Hope all is well! wonderful image you have here.
The curve of the pistil (?) and the lines on the petal really have good detail. If I may nitpick again, that empty spot on the corner is a bit disracting :-) sorry it's been a familiar word on my critiques.
I'll be going back to posting shot of florals also (birds/raptors are a bit harder to come by around here these days). A good resource I've discovered is Tony Sweet. I'm taking a course from him. You may want to research him and look at this works, he also has a book about fine art flower photog. Take care!

WOW! This parachuter landed right on target. Something that isn't exactly so easy to do, but this parachuter makes it look that way.
Wonderful image of the touch down just inches away from setting his/her foot on the ground.
This is hard to capture as they come in so quick and then their parachutes come down fast.
Great action photo of this landing.
