Suggesting a 'club' photo. The desaturated face suggests death, or a death mask. The spottiness might suggest disease. I don't know. Since it is suggestive, it could suggest very different things to various folks. But the expression is seemingly one of being pleased.
It's an interesting effort. It's the sort of image that doesn't suffer from slight blur, because that itself suggests motion. It's an image people could talk about, and consider, if they looked.

Interesting show. I don't know if I would have did the selective coloring on her eye in this shot. I really do not think that you needed to do it because the shot is great as it is. If I had used selective coloring on her eye, I would have used a more subtle shade of green. The vivid green that you used is not needed since attention is automatically drawn to her eye. One more think, this shot seems to be cropped a little too tight. Still a great shot. Great work.

Nicole, for me, the skin tones are too grey and there are no real whites. You could improve this image with a little more work in PS using the levels and curve commands. The photo is not really sharp but..it's not easy taking a self portrait :-) Here is an adjusted copy which I hope you will like!

The colors are certainly interesting but they don't look natural at all. I'm not sure if this is what you intended or if the color saturation took on a mind of it's own :-)

Hi Nicole, An interesting picture, it took me a moment to visualize what I was looking at. I don't do a lot of people/portrait shots myself so my critique will only be some suggestions. I like the way the hand is in the foreground of the picture it creates depth to picture. However maybe positioning it a bit lower might put the kiss in the background into better perspective. The grainy texture to this picture along with the lighting does have a neat effect but as I am sure you are aware some loss in detail. In the end you captured a nice moment. Cheers, Chris
