Hey Chris! Yeah, i'm sure it's purely a SIZE/INTERNET issue. I actually didn't even notice the man standing there until you meantioned it. I'm sure in full size those two object make perfect sense. In the smaller version the man is rather insignificant and the plane looks a bit like a smudge.

Either way...I think you've captured a fantastic image. You should be very proud of this one!

hey michael. thanks for the comments. i'm not sure what you mean about being blurry. I softened the image. but only selectively. the eyes are very sharp. as is her jewelry and hairlines and edges.

thanks for the feedback though.

super sharp and crisp macro! great colors. the only thing I see that could help is maybe run it through a noise filter to remove some of the grain in the background...but that's fairly minor. Nice job!

First of all...beautiful image. awesome colors. love the silhouettes. The narrow composition makes for a nice panoramic view. since you have this in critiquers corner, i guess i have to find something to suggest. the only thing I can find is what looks like a plane or a bird to the right of the sun. I think it's a tad distracting and could be removed. other than that...brilliant work!

wow...just...wow! really absolutely nothing that I could suggest could improve this. it's perfection as it sits. the exposure balance is perfect, down to the porch light on the house. the mist adds just the right mystery to the image. and the ominous clouds just take this to the next level. very very VERY nice work!

thank you guys very much. i'm honored to get this award. surprised me a lot. this is just a tiny little tree that we have sitting in our entry way. I just like the way it looked against the wall. Anyway, thank you again...and Merry Christmas to all my usefilm friends!

i LOVE the exposure, the pose, and the black and white treatment. I just wish that the big 'whatever' in the foreground on the left wasn't there. other than that...great shot!
