I think when I edit it, I'll adjust it slightly in PS, it was shot RAW so I have a little room to move. Will post the edited version once it's done. The one on here now is unedited and has only been resized. Just put it up to get some feedback on the shot, sus out what people think if I should bring it back a bit or leave it blown out. General consensus seems to be to bring it back, so will fiddle with the original and post the edited version soon! :)
Thanks for your feedback!

We did some more shots without the false eyelashes, this particular shot was for the make up artist! :)
Good suggestion with the crop! Haven't actually edited the photo yet, just resized it and put it on here! Would you crop the entire shoulder out and have just her face, or leave some of the shoulder in the frame to give it perspective?

It certainly is. Check back in a day or so, I'll put some more photos up from the shoot. :)

Absolutely sensational image! Very deserving of the award! What program did you use for the HDR treatment? It's come up fantastically! Always wanted to try it, seen some gorgeous results!

Thanks John :) Must admit, it is cropped slightly! Couldn't get as close as I would have liked to with my lens, most shots I left as they were, but I did crop a couple in a bit closer (in particular this one and the one of Casey Stoner).

I was really happy with this shot, was trying to capture the tranquility of the restaurant's location.

That's so sweet! Thankyou!
The shots are amazing - very sharp for handheld, nice work! The big cats at the zoo in Melbourne are in an enclosure with high fencing, can't get shots of them without the cage getting in the way :( would love to get some shots like that!

Usual work is good - up and down, such is the life of a freelancer! Would love to sign with an agent and have a bit more stability though! Looking at a possible move overseas early next year, tossing up between a few places, just weighing up work prospects with expenses etc.
What about you? Keeping busy? Had a look at your stuff - the photos of the tiger are AMAZING! So sharp, great composition, perfect balance in saturation, very dramatic, simply lovely images to look at!! Where were they taken?

It was a collaborative work with an Art Director as a pitch to Hahn to secure the campaign. We were supposed to shoot 3 in the series, but I did this one just before leaving to go overseas for 3 months, was just bad timing!

She was actually smiling because I was there! She saw me setting up to shoot, smiled at me and laughed as she walked off! I think the panning threw them off, not what they expected!

I got the idea because I shoot a bit of motor sport, thought it might look effective to capture the energy and atmosphere of this busy event by using similar techniques used to capture the speed of the cars. Very happy with the results!

Thanks Keith. I figured, given the beautiful blue sky on offer, a low perspective would look nice. I like your "crabs eye view" - so used to hearing it as "worms eye", but I guess crab is more applicable for this situation, I like it! :)

Beautiful!
How many shots did you have to take to get this perfect timing? It's wonderful! Have not yet attempted the frozen water motion studio shot, don't know how to get it perfect, anticipate needing to take many many shots to hopefully luck onto a good one. Any tips for when I give it a try? Would greatly appreciate any advice you may have - you seem to have it down pat!

Abolutely magnificent! Can't put my finger on it. Often when you like a photo you can put it down to lighting or composition or styling etc. Don't know what it is that grabs me about this image, there is just something about it, you can't draw your eyes away, it's just beautiful!

Have had contact from lots of bands wanting to see more of my stuff so I'm trying to get as much of my band photography onto usefilm as possible. Looking to get a website up and running, just slightly out of my budget at the moment! This way I can direct people to this site in the interim and they can check it out on here!

¿El modelo o la foto!? ¡Gracias! Era feliz con éste - el cielo no miraba eso agradable cuando le tiré, utilicé una combinación de la debajo-exposicio'n y del flash leves del terraplén para realzar el cielo, era muy feliz con el resultado.
