Nice idea Siddharth! There is too much tilt in the horizon line for my taste . . . . don't know it you planned the tilt or not but I think the shot would be great with the horizon leveled. Attached a 3 degree tilt corrected example for your consideration.

hi paul..thanks for your feedback. Shooting for a magazine, I tend to shoot leaving a lot of room to place copy and headlines, etc....but you are right, as a stand-alone image your crop really works.

Good work, nice model and b&w, but I think you should do a different crop, IMHO it improves the picture, see below.

hey.. i think i f'd it up in the jpeg conversion or in retouching. Cause I dont see anything on the edge of the cloth on the original hi res file! I remember having stretched and clipped the black velevet..full nrupen style attention to detail!

Power, money and influence, this apparently is what this man is all about. You captured this very well, from a very interesting angle. I would have established eye contact with the man, so the portrait becomes much more intimate. But still, good work.
