This is a great photo. You've captured the regal bearing of this beautiful bird. Couldn't have asked for a better pose. Very well done!

Nice one Todd, your image captures the natural nervousness of these creatures very well. It was fun watching them - too bad we missed the young stag!

Very nice! I like the colour of the moss and petals with the grass and stone. Can't wait until things get a bit greener in my area...

Great capture Yamil. We don't get these particular Grebes in my area -- thanks for posting this one. Good work!

This is a Common Snipe (Gallinago gallinago). Found in marshes, wet fields, runoff ditches, etc. -- a wet habitat bird. Explosive takeoff speeds, but will sometimes allow you to get close before it bolts. Juveniles/males/females hard to distinguish. Nice photo!

Stop stalking me! LOL. That was a great trip to northern Ontario, I highly recommend it for nature buffs. Wolves, Owls, Moose, and lots more we didn't see. Thanks for this photo Todd. A great souvenir of a memorable trek.

Good work on this flight shot. I still don't have a decent one of Mallards in action like this. Well done.

Very nice! Excellent DOF here, with great lighting. No worries about the posterization; it detracts nothing from this nice photo.

Nice composition. To my eye the clouds almost make a second vanishing point -- the effect is very pleasing.

Wonderful photo! I've been thinking about buying that lens for insect photography. Looks like it's capable of great results.
