This is so fantastic view!!! I love those poppies and how they pop up in the green field. Wonderful place and sky...
I can?t believe that you are the writer of the "Master photography", are you?? :-) I?m trying to learn about photography and this is one of my favorites books here.

Superb composition of a beautiful scene. The white house is the perfect anchor for the eye and a nice reference for scale in the middle ground. Nice flow and balance to the perspective and mountains. Great eye!

Beautiful, clear image. Lovely light. I find the vegetation at the very bottom a bit distracting -- perhaps you could clone it out. Beautiful image, nonetheless. -- Naomi

Absolutely beautiful Michael, the dramatic sky combined by the warm lighting makes for a fantastic composition & the structure looks great in the distance. I'm guessing a polarizer was utilized, anyway keep up the good work, best wishes.

Lovely landscape image, I like the way the light catches the trees with the shadowed areas behind, gives it such depth. I have one tiny nit: in the upper third, right at the top of that first slim tree, there's a little hooked line in the snowy hill behind. I know that's part of the hill, but it grabs my eye and I just want to erase it!

Michael, I agree with you about the framing. And my first thought when I saw this image was that the contrasting presence of the old motorbike wheel also enhances the colours of the wool tufts.

It's a question of personal preference really and I felt the colours in the shop window were so dominant that it was best to create some balance by including a frame of plain blue around them. In some ways I think it heightens the impact of the coloured wools. MikeB

I love the patterns and the great colors. The man and his grandchild (I suppose), are very well in this picture, they really add an athmosphere to the picture, they tell a story. I do have a question: Is there a reason for not going closer, and cropping the piece of wall on the left and the part of the weel on the right out of the frame? I tried a little cropping in PS, hope you don't mind?

I love the mood, and the story the picture is telling, the same material, but in different ways. I love the choice of B&W, but I dislike the flash-reflection, especially on the first picture.

The desaturation and the mirroring really created a superb picture from what would otherwise only be a rather dull tree... Very well seen!!!
