Hi Anson,
I always wanted a "Bugeye Sprite".
I had two original Minis and a Triumph Spitfire, so I've had my share of misery anyway.
I never raced and kind of regret it. I still enjoy watching every level. That LeMans finish last weekend was pretty nice to watch. Also Kubica's Canadian Grand Prix win was great to see after that terrible accident he has last year. My wife and I were sitting in the stands last year when that crash came on the big screen. I thought he was finished for sure.
Do you go to any of the ALMS series races? Those cars are fantastic now a days. But, I miss the sound of those big Can-Am cars :)

The car I drove, a "bugeye" Sprite, was in H production, which means everybody passed me, except the year I had my engine done by Huffaker Engineering of San Rafael, CA. That year I was passing some G and even F production cars. My philosophy was, and still is, if you need a blue flag to tell you that you were about to be passed, you had no business being on the track. Regards. Anson

These blossoms' petals are fairly translucent, Shirley, so they tend to glow softly when backlit with warm light, qd the "dreamy" look. I always enjoy the "dreaminess" of your images, Shirley. Regards. Anson
