Really love the composition on this Darlene! I like how the tree start out in the center and goes backward and then the body of the Egret brings your eyes back towards the right causing your eye to traverse the whole scene...Great!

I probably would've first cropped it tight, yet it's your crop that works, eventually: He appear to be in a precarious position and that tall post with sharp spikes gives a hint. Then those spikes emulate his beak (nice touch!). Focus and white plumage stand him out, and that background with those large oof patches of color are wonderful. The texture of that post adds to the my enjoyment... Great image Darlene ...Gab
