About You've seen it from the top in http://www.usefilm.com/image/824230.html

You've seen the view from the top of it in http://www.usefilm.com/image/825168.html among others.

This is the view when you approach this 200m high waterfall from the bottom.

+++

I've used curves to lower the contrast and boost the midtones, and a very slight overlay also to help the colour balance.

Decided against doing anything about the flare and the blown out sky. I could have put in a copied or faked sky, but decided not to. This way you get to feel the effect of the strong back light.

Hope you can tell me like it, or why you don't.

I don't understand this one being marked for deletion I hope that you mull this one over a bit more... This is a very worthy image IMO.

OK I don't like it... I love it! I really like the leaves in the foreground this adds much depth to this image. The split where the falls starts at the top, yeah the little bit of visable sky is blown, but to me it is forgiveable simply because of the rays from the mist that are shining into the image at an angle, they just take me away from that sky. Not sure that there is anything I would have done any different to be honest. But I surely would not have held it against you had you layered a sky into the image using PS.

Nicely done and processed. I like the clarity of the plants in the foreground and then the fade into the mist of the falls. The flare adds some character.
Thanks for the critique on my Macro shot, the f6.7 gave it a bit shallow DOF, I'll go f9.0 on my next curved surface might get a bit more DOF.

Agel, I,m sorry but in the name of photography you must learn how to fall off the edge.Getting the best possible image is all that matters.I like it very much as it is but if only you had.... oh never mind ,go back and do it again.

Well then I'm glad you didn't.... otherwise UF would be one donor short.... I would lose someone to critique my shots, and we'll miss out on some great photos.... ;-D!!!

Great view!!! Don't mind the flares, even like the one on top.... and that little piece of blown out sky.... it fits (glad you didn't 'fake it')!!! Love the natural framing, the only thing.... too bad the leaves of the right tree go in front of the waterfall.... (I don't know if it was/would've been possible to move foreward and/or to the left a bit), but all in all: great shot... well done!!!

Love this one Angelo, a beautiful light here, love the illumination of all the vegetation in the foreground. Are you using a hood, just curious? Honestly I didn't notice the flares right away, what I noticed was the beautiful falls and the gorgeous lighting, that's what makes this picture for me, the rest is just icing...very well done....:):)Linda
