About This is the courtroom where the famous Nurnberg trials were held for the Nazis that commited the crimes during world war II. The courtroom is still in use today. We were just lucky that they did not have anything going this day. It is a very ornate room. The cross on the back wall can be taken down if people object during their trial if they are of another faith.

I am using Photoshop CS. They have a highlight shadow feature that sure helps with images such as th is. I think the ASA was about 640 for this picture. There is noise but it holds together pretty good. Thanks Den. Don.

Ah, that explains it! You shot in Raw. I wondered how you got such even exposure and no burn out of the windows. I'm gonna have to get into shooting Raw. What software do you use to convert to JPEG Don? Images like this give me the kick to try it out but I'm never sure about the conversion.

Great shot Don, a very clean and well exposed image with such historical meaning.
My Son studied abroad last summer and toured there and Auschwitz camps. He was deeply moved knowing what had transpired there.

This sure takes you back in History, great presentation.. it does look like an old painting except for the modern clothing. The info on the cross is very interesting.

Yes this is noisy as I think I used ASA 640 to even get close to holding a camera in this light.
If it hadn't been in RAW I would not have had a picture at all as I can add another couple of stops with that.

An interesting shot and 'about', Don.
It looks a little 'noisy' towards the bottom of the frame ~ did you use a high ISO setting due to low light?
Best regards, Chris
