Thanks Roger. I left a copy of the picture at his business and he kindly sent me a thank you card signng off as Chief O'the Puddin. He is a real character. A bookbinder by trade he works in the heritage precint in Oamaru and dresses the part, wearing Edwardian clothes all day. Regards John

John, you realize that you are calling this man a Haggis (which IS the Chief o'the Puddin Clan)? I think he might not be amused. He doesn't look that easy to amuse, anyway. Contrast is a little low, isn't it. Nice skin tones and textures, though and a really fine portrait.
