About This has NOT been converted to b&w. (No color correction.) We know the plant as "Dusty Miller," used as an accent to the colorful flowers in the same bed.

Your title AND the about? thought you?re pulling my leg George! But it?s true, it?s true? a monochrome plant! ;-) Maybe I?ve ?seen? them before, they?re atractive things, not at all indistinct, yet I?ve never really noticed.

George,

Thats really surprising - never heard of 'dusty miller' flower until now. One learns everyday !

Very convincing for a B&W image.

regards,
ken

Note -

we had a nice uk usefilm meet last week. I would suggest you guys from USA to meet each other if possible

Yeah, Larry, the result was unexpected. You can make out little bits of color in the background. I went back to look at it, and it is dead monochrome! We learn by doing! --g

Extraordinary looking plant, a succulent I think.
I like the texture and shapes of the leaves, very different from the standard green!
