About It was a bright, sunny day on New Orleans' Canal street. This is the widest street in America, because they intended to make an actual canal up from the river. Unfortunately, they got distracted with Usefilm uploads and comments, and never got around to it.
This was cropped, adjusted, and dodged in Photoshop.

I was just in New Orleans 2 weeks ago for the Tape Op convention. I took a ton of pics of the trolly since it just reopened to the public. Yes the streets are amazing and so is the smell!
(you'll know what i mean) Wonderful shot and thank you for your kind comments!

Yes, when they're 3, his parents 'hung the moon'.
As they get older, they realized the parents just 'supervised' the hanging of the moon. By the time they're teenagers, they are convinced that parents tried to hang the moon, but botched the whole project. ;)

I love this! :-)) I love trams, and this looks extra wonderful with it's forms and bright red colour. Very sharp, good and well composed photo with interesting details even around.

Haha my 3 years old son is looking too now and always want me to scroll up again so he can see the "train". He loves it too and says that he wants to go there today. Haha... just on the other side of the world, but in his world parents can solve ANY problems! ;-)

Gosh, thanks for the kind words, Jim.
I'm glad you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoy taking them!

I'm still employing your 'back-in-time' method, and tonight, I just clicked on a random folder, determined to post one shot from that day.
I found 'waiting' ...waiting for me.

Thanks for your comment on the picture > Mystic mountains< the film was a B/W negative film. With Photoshop I coloriert the picture.
To your picture: At that time I drove also with this course. A good documentation.

When I moved to Washington DC 45 yrs ago, Street cars were still the main form of transportation, this brings back memories. A very clear sharp photo. Del

It has cool style to it with the off-center composition that leads your eyes to the right and makes you look where the trolley is going. I also like how the trolley has "cemeteries" written on the left side of it...
