About A video card's reflection in several CD roms, lit by a halogen spot. This was the first try of an abstract triptych, taken in 1998. I'll elaborate on this theme in numbers II and III with more recent shots. Comments, as always are appreciated.

My second favourite of your digitronic series. Not cause it's more or less beautiful than the other two shots, but because of the involvement of the subject with the intensity of my feelings.
I love music and I love computers. I couldn't do without cd's (who could, nowadays?). The reflection of the video card is beautiful, significative and interesting. Stunning colours like it usually happens when you use a light source on cd's. I have tried many it times myself and I have lots of similar photos. Your use of a video card makes this shot original.
Fantastic abstract and a lovely piece of artwork.
Regards - Emgy

Very interesting Hugo! Very nice colors and clarity! I'm not too sure about the bright white on the left, my eye keeps going back to it, even though that clearly is not where I want it to go. (I feel I'm not explaining this well...) And yet, (i just looked at it again) maybe that's OK...I'll have to get back to this one.

Lots of conversation going on here, I just read all the other remarks...I normally write my comment before I read the others. (so why am I even telling you this??)

Anyway, nice work Hugo,
Lori :)

The rusty stuff was basically concerning the line of work I'm in... And to trick you into commenting? I'll think about that...;o) Thanks for your reply.

And you called my rusty stuff high tech, so this must be real SF stuff..;) But.. nice shot and great colors.. But then again you knew that and you were just tickling my curiousity.

Hey Hugo. Opnieuw een stukje weergaloze creativiteit. Mooi werk, had misschien iets lichter gekunt, maar zo is het ook oke.
Ik zelf lig voorlopig uit de roelatie, erg druk met school, sorry voor de gemiste foto's.
Tim.

Hi Bibi, Thanks for your comment. I do use photoshop, but the yellowish-red colour is there, because it is a gold coloured rewritable CD..... I have a few more in green, blue and the "ordinary" silver...;o)

Cheers,

Hugo

Great reflections, and very confusing view my dear Hugo. But you need some color adjustment, I think, for me, too redish and yellowish. Do you use PhotoShop for adjustment my dear Hugo???
Kiss, Biliana

I can see this for editorial usage in a magazine to illustrate a theme. It has all the trappings techni-mania.
