Contrast and sense of infinity are beautiful.
One alternative for the framing would be to have a wider view to include the whole last turn of the stairway with the handgrip.

Don't want to hit bottom here! Yikes. Love the perspective and composition. I think that I might prefer it cropped from the left, pulling the spiral off-center and allowing less distraction from the stairtreads on the left while bringing out the dark rectangles of the floor. Actually nice both ways, I think. Nicely done.
