Compared to the previous version, I think the lighting on the clouds matches better with that on the rocks and the land.
The colour of the sky looks less 'real' (more fantasy?). It makes a good contrast to the colours of the rock, though.

Michael - I do think this is much more successful, and I think the key is that the quality of light in the three components is more harmonious. Darkening the foreground and sky and matchingn saturation makes a big difference IMHO.
On the direction of light: in this incarnation it is difficult to assess where the sun is in the sky picture, and it is true that it has a similar angle in the two other components, although it seems to me that light strikes more from the side in the foreground than it does on the rocks. Not a big difference if at all, an certainly not something that screams "composite!"
The editing is flawless so there are no clues there.
I tried putting a sky into a shot that needed a little help myself not too long ago. Apart from not having your skills at photoediting, I never was quite happy because of being unable to really match the quality of light in the two images.
