Hi Nicki, you succeeded very well in expressing a strong contrast (with our present situation) or in creating an atmosphere only existing in our dreams.
With a reality of so many cold winter days and a few more to come that will just end some degrees below zero in absence of our beloved sun ... is that not a bit cruel too me ? :-)

Good Morning My Friend.
There is always a sort of romantic feel when the is going to end, possibly that romantic feel is because every one of us is at his last bit of energy and will need to relax and cool down, the whole body is exhausted, that makes the end of the day with its beautiful colors and calmness so preferred by all of us.
This is a wonderful image my friend, very well exposed and the composition is superb, all along with the DOF and the originality of the colors here.
