About
This was taken from a place called the Sunset point in Mukhteshwar.....just after the sun had gone down...the layer we can see here are just amazing with vivid colours dispersing thru the ridges..!!
Mukhteshwar is one of lesser known destinations in Uttranchal but is one of the most beautiful one with its wide 350 kms view of the Himalayan ranges starting from the Kedardome to the Annapurna..The sunset point is a drive of 30 mins from here and takes one to the point where you can see the sunsetting on your left and the ranges going red on your right..!! This beautiful place is 2286 mts in altitude and 51 Kms. from Nainital. Surrounded by fruit orchards and thick coniferous forest it was developed by the Britishers as research and education institute (IVRI) in 1893.I really insist everybody to keep this place in your itinerary, if you are planning to visit Uttranchal
